Q) Can you make any image?

A) Yes, any image can be made into a clay chain. The finish product will look just like the image you provide us, unless you provide any alternate instructions indicating you want us to make changes to the image provided (example, add a name/ change a name, changes to the color scheme, etc...).

 

Q) What are the chains made  of?

A) Polymer Clay which unlike porcelain clay does not shatter.

 

Q) What size are they?

A) Since each peice is customer made your chain can be any size you want it to be. During our initial correspodance we establish what size chain you would like and on what legnth chain. If the chain is for a kid you would let us know that and we would discuss the average kids size vs. what you have in mind and determine the size before I start the work. * The average adult size chain is about 4 x 4 inches (size of your palm) and the average kids size chain is about 2.5 x 2.5 inches - however I can make it any size you want.

 

Q) Do they come on a chain or do I have to put my own on it?

A) Yes, each peice comes with on a chain. We have a Standard metal link chain or you can upgrade to a Franco chain (see below for more info on each type of chain).

 

Q) What is the standard chain?

A) The initial price quoted is for the cutom peice on a standard metal chain. Our standard chains is a basic metal link chain. The style of our standard chains may slightly varry from week to week depending on our suupliers  inventory. All of the standard chains look good on the peice, although the upgraded Franco chain does give your peice a more "suer star" look.

 

Q) What is a Franco chain?

A) Franco is a particular sytle of chain. Franco's are very solid and pairs perfectly with custom clay peices. There is a $15.00 charge to upgrade to a Franco chain. You can choose from silver, gun metal (black silver) or gold. See the picture below.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Q) Can you do 3D chains?

A) Yes. Ask about how we can 3D your image when you contact us for a quote.

 

Q) Do you do double sides chains?

A) Yes. Keep in mind that with double sided chains the shape of the peice does play a big role unless you just want a box/circle shaped chain with different images on each side. Sports jersey's make awesome double sided clay chains because of their shape.
